Louis Lucivero, resident of Fremont since 1978, and prior resident of Hayward and San Leandro, passed away on November 25th at the age of 66.

Louis is survived by his wife Lorriane, daughter Laura and husband Barry of Fremont, son Louis and wife Beanie of Livermore, and four grandchildren. His sisters Lucretia, Ida, and brother Michael all of Long Island also survive him.

Louis has been a member of the Independent Order of Foresters, Italian Club, Union Local #20 of Engineers and Scientists, IFPIE vice president and past president.

Lou started as a machinist apprentice at the Brooklyn Naval Yard and when the Navy Yard closed in 1966 he transferred to Alameda. Sometime in the seventy’s he went into the Planning Office to program NC machine tools and later CNC equipment (Bldg. 5). He left NAS Alameda and went to United Airlines where he worked in Planning and was a negotiator for the union there. Lou was a jolly person who always had a good joke to tell and was very easy to work with.
