Thomas J. Jones Sr. worked for many years as a N.A.R.F. employee in Alameda. He served in both the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force, and after the war he worked there as an Aviation Metalsmith repairing airplanes.
He also worked as a civilian for N.A.R.F. overseas, as he accepted may lengthy assignments that took him to many places.
