Alameda Naval Air Museum needs your help! We need funds, we need someone that could fix and paint the front of our facade, and we need someone that can be at the front counter to greet visitors every Saturday (and Wednesday!). Unlike the USS Midway in San Diego where there is a huge active duty component near by, Alameda is 25 years out from a base that has closed and the volunteers have left the area and retired elsewhere. You are an Alameda resident and like the history of the Island, we need your help! Come down some Saturday morning after 1000 AM and help us make this the best museum that ever existed!
