Jeanette peacefully passed away on May 2nd with her loving family by her side. She was born in Honey Creek, Iowa to Martin and Frances Nelson.
She worked 30 years as a Budget Analyst at the Alameda Naval Base. Loved working on crossword puzzles, was a supporter of the Alameda Girls Club, and a member of the Alameda Hospital Auxiliary and the Soroptimist Club. Jeanette is the beloved mother to Luann (Ayers) Choy, Robert Choy (son-in-law) and loving grandmother to Kate and Amy Choy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace T. Ayer
