Former Resident San Lorenzo Joseph Anthony Esposito entered into eternal rest peacefully with his family, who loved him dearly, at his bedside. Joe touched so many lives with his kind and gentle spirit. He was a man of grace and dignity and had a devoted faith in God.

Joe was born and raised in W. Gonshohocken, PA by his parents Francis E. Esposito and Agnes T. Esposito. Joe was a San Leandro and San Lorenzo resident for 50 years and then retired in Galt, CA, for the last 10 years of his life. Joe was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, Air Transport Squadron Two, USS Boxer CV 21. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Airman on March 20, 1950.

Joe served a long career with NARF located at the Naval Air Station in Alameda as Quality Verification Division Head.

Joe is survived by his daughters Diane Montalvo and Carolyn Lacativo, his grandchildren Angela Lacativo Greene, Darren Lacativo, Kacey Wooldridge, his great grandchildren Nathan Lacativo, Gabriel Lacativo, Sierra Greene and Gianna Greene, his sisters Nancy Brennan, Agnes Jones, Mary Dee Hopkins, numerous nieces and nephews and extended family, Maxine Esposito and stepdaughter Linda Grimoldi. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Agnes Esposito, stepmother Rose Esposito, brother Francis Esposito and previous wife Audrey Esposito.

Joe will be remembered most for his endearing smile, passion for the game of golf, his wit and sense of humor and his unparallel love of family. Joe enjoyed camping, fixing up his home and helping his children and family members. He will be deeply missed by his daughters, family and all those that knew and loved him.
