My dad worked as a aircraft mechanic for NARF for 25 years in building 40 on the F-9 fighter jets. He retired in 1970. He passed away on Dec. 23, 1976. He was an infantryman in the Army during WWII in the 1st Filipino Regiment stationed at Camp Roberts in San Luis Obispo. Given an honorable discharge after the war and settled in Alameda, got married and raised 6 children, all who still live in Alameda.
